[BREAKING] MSNBC cancels Mehdi R. Hasan’s show, months after MSNBC [3x times] topped CNN and FOX

Hasan, gargantuan engagement in twitter / X, especially since 2017 because Trump, became a cult favorite online for his tough interview style and impassioned monologues

Thanks for very popular and very gargantuan engagement by Mehdi R. Hasan in X / TWITTER, so around May 2023, also July 2023, and then around September 2023, thanks for Trump’s trial, MSNBC for several days to be 1st - highest rating, topped FOX and CNN. Minute ago this morning east coast, according SEMAFOR, MSNBC is canceling outspoken opinion host Mehdi Hasan’s weekend program and show on the streaming service Peacock.

According to Middle East analyst Yousef Munayyer [he’s also got cancelled by ‘some global TV channel], ‘have never witnessed the level of censorship and discourse policing by cable news that is taking place right now just because speak up for Palestine.’

Two people familiar with the move, which MSNBC privately announced to staff Thursday morning, told Semafor that Hasan will become an on-camera analyst and fill-in host. The network plans to expand host Ayman Mohyeldin’s weekend program to two hours to replace Hasan’s show.

Over the past several years, Hasan became a cult favorite online for his tough interview style and impassioned monologues. But these never translated to ratings successes on the weekends or during fill-in appearances on primetime shows.

MSNBC was the most-watched cable news channel in total viewers during Thursday primetime as the Trump mugshot was released. The possibility that Trump will win next year’s presidential election has capitals across the globe on edge. Using quote by President Tom Beck (Deep Impact, played by Morgan Freeman), coincidence “very high rating” of MSNBC after 25 years of Deep Impact, is “because I believe the God, whomever you hold that to be, hears all prayers, May the Lord lift up his divine countenance upon you, and give you peace.”

MSNBC is an American basic cable and satellite news television channel that was created in 1996 by Microsoft and General Electric's NBC unit, which is now the Comcast-owned NBCUniversal.

As a Microsoft vice president, Patty Stonesifer, now CEO Washington Post, had managed the Microsoft news portion of the MSNBC merger, which included Slate.

Last May 2023 - Week 3rd-Week 4th, or 25 years after Deep Impact (aired May 8th, 1998), MSNBC’s Chris Hayes, Alex Wagner, and Lawrence O’Donnell all won their respective hours between 8 and 11 p.m. in both total viewers and in the key 25-54 age demographic.
