Erdogan Aware If Freedom Flotilla [Part 2] Under Danger If Israel - Iran Saga to be Worse Than Gaza
Hundred volunteers already in Istanbul before going to Gaza including my friend Jennifer Koonings. I wish to sleep, but ended can't sleep after Israel decided push limit Iran at midnight.
Istanbul and Tel Aviv 9.05am / Tehran 9.35am
Iran has no plan for immediate retaliation against Israel, a senior Iranian official told Reuters on Friday. “The foreign source of the incident has not been confirmed. We have not received any external attack, and the discussion leans more towards infiltration than attack," the Iranian official said. But until when Iran can patience? one thing is clearly evident: Israel's retaliatory response against Iran was a massive media propaganda effort, more a psychological warfare tactic of the Israeli regime than a disruptive military operation.
Worse casing in the Middle East is understandable. But we need to step back and not jump off a cliff. We just don't know if we're at a point where messaging and signaling will remain that only or are we on verge a major climb up escalatory ladder. If Iran continues to downplay the Israeli attack, dismiss it as nothing and as a result, stop the escalatory cycle, it will expect to be recognized as the more rational and restrained party to this conflict. The Iranian gov is playing down the attacks, even denying missiles were involved. If so, it may provide a way out of this escalatory cycle. But it will likely require the international community to condemn the Israeli attack - unlike the UNSC's failure to condemn the embassy bombing.
Isfahan and Tabriz air defense activated in both cities, in Isfahan engaged with small flying objects over Shekari 8 airforce base and in Tabriz with suspicious object.
If this is true, not only did Netanyahu not cave to Biden's demand for no strikes, Biden actually caved to Netanyahu and agreed to help Israel in an offensive attack. Biden had said that the US would only help defensively.

This is why Jennifer Koonings hate Blinken
Jennifer Koonings literally singing also for foundation - charity movement Sing for Hope. How golden heart.
After strike by Israel around 3.55am - 4.10am Tel Aviv & Istanbul / 4.25am - 4.40am Tehran [means 5 hours ago], Iranian military officials deny any 'damage on the ground' in Israeli attack, amid significant discrepancies in official narrative. This is refuting or clarification release by Iranian TV ‘MEHR’ or Xabâr-gozâri Mehr [around 5.30am Tel Aviv & Istanbul / 6am Tehran] that the sound of three explosions has been heard near an army base in north-west Isfahan.
3 small birds = 3 drone
Three drones were observed in the sky over Isfahan. The air defence system became active and destroyed these drones in the sky, MEHR - Iranian state TV reporting. Iranian users already making fun of alleged Israeli attack. And this is being amplified by government media, another sign that this is being massively downplayed.

In a tweet he sent addressing Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in 2018, Erdogan remarked, “Hamas is not a terrorist organization and Palestinians are not terrorists. It is a resistance movement that defends the Palestinian homeland against an occupying power.” To reminder anyone that Turkiye is NATO member.
And indeed, since Hamas’s latest attack, Erdogan has been content in stating that “it’s our responsibility to stand with the oppressed” and inviting “all humanity to take action to stop the unprecedented brutality in Gaza.”
This is not a new way of thinking about Hamas for Erdogan. In his worldview, Hamas represents the very essence of the Palestinian liberation movement. That view is widely representative of how Turkish Islamists have long framed the Arab-Israeli conflict.
Erdogan then authorized an “aid flotilla” to Gaza in 2010. The small fleet of Turkish boats attempted to breach the Israeli Navy’s blockade, resulting in the death of several individuals on board one of its vessels, Mavi Marmara, after it was stormed by Israeli special forces. Hundred Flotilla [part 2] volunteers already in Istanbul including my friend Jennifer Koonings.

What if Iran vs Israel to be a bigger war? How, at least, Erdogan as 3rd party can prevented more casualties. May 2010, Freedom Flotilla part 1, Nine activists were killed, including eight Turkish nationals and one Turkish American, and many were wounded. On 23 May 2014, a tenth member of the flotilla died in hospital after being in a coma for four years. Personally, I’m really afraid lives of Jennifer and entire Flotilla team right now after Israel bluffing Washington DC warning and keep decide to strike Iran.
Ankara and Israel had developed not only a close government-to-government relationship, but also a people-to-people one. Israelis would flock en masse to Turkish coastal towns during summers, while Turkey’s military and intelligence services benefited from a tight-knit relationship with their Israeli counterparts, which helped modernize Turkey’s tanks and air force fleet. This all went away after the Mavi Marmara incident. Soon after, Erdogan began openly cultivating a relationship with Hamas.
The decision to nurture that relationship is wholly Erdogan’s personal choice and not a strategic decision representing the institutional preferences of the Turkish state. At this point, though, the Hamas relationship has deep roots in Turkey and will be difficult to uproot.
Israel will make its own decisions but it didn’t need to retaliate in Iran. It wasn’t necessary. Israel could have basked in the successful defense effort that occurred last weekend and moved on. Instead, it appears that it wants another round. Iran will retaliate. And on we go.
If Iran can push Israel to spend US$4 billion just less 10 hours to intercept entire missiles, what if Iran push limit more and more? What if Iran ‘more prepare than imagining anyone’ for [direct] bigger war like Iran - Iraq [September 1980 - August 1988].
But the biggest issue if the war [Iran - Israel] not only ‘on land’ but also maritime. The fact that Freedom Flotilla part 2 [after part 1; 2010], 5500 tonnes [maybe more] humanitarian aid, maybe got indirect impact, although Iran maybe more focused to [retaliate] land area of Israel.
Different people will give different answers on whether Israel’s strike on an Iranian military airport tonight was a step up the escalation ladder. The more question, how big [escalation] in next 2-3 days. Can Israel and Iran avoid climbing an escalatory ladder toward something the Middle East East has never experienced before -- a real regional war.
Huwaida Arraf. Part of Flotilla 2010, now again for 2nd Flotilla.
Biden may have urged Netanyahu not to hit back at Iran but now that Netanyahu has Biden will have little choice but to support Israel—something that Netanyahu understood full well. Because anger from Jordanian people, Jordan’s King Abdullah already asked US President Joe Biden during a call over the weekend to urge Israel not to use Amman’s airspace in a counter-strike against Iran.
