Armed men attacked a concert hall CROCUS CITY [Кро́кус-Си́ти-холл] near Moscow, Russian state media says. The number of dead or death toll has risen to 40 with over 100 injured according to Russian Telegram channels. There are so many echoes with the Nord-Ost and Beslan shootings, which Putin used as an excuse to wage war.

White House’s comment, at least via John Kirby, ‘‘… last week, the State Department, through our embassy there, has issued a notice to all Americans in Moscow to avoid any large gatherings, concerts, obviously shopping centers, anything like that, simply for their own safety.’’
