Why would anyone who genuinely cares about the hostages and the loss of innocent lives in Gaza glibly speak about Hamas surrendering? Because they don't give a shit about either, or the truth. Ben Gvir will not succeed on this. However, he will not rest until he successfully ignites convulsive violence. He has ample opportunity to do so, and he won't always be stopped on time. And this is happening because Netanyahu wants this to happen. The most challenging adversity requiring all of resiliency is the genocidal regime of Benjamin Netanyahu. In spite of AIPAC and it's trained automatons, we will prevail.
Netanyahu thrives in a country in which virtually no one trusts him, no one believes he is acting in good faith or that anything beyond his own survival interests him - except for his dwindling cult. AIPAC increasingly resembles the NRA—a once-bipartisan organization that embraces increasingly fanatical far-right positions and declares war on anyone who challenges them, a super weapon of GOP. The question is how long it takes Democratic Party leadership to understand this.
