Maddening to see individuals in power suddenly become concerned about a final solution in Gaza that they engineered in the first place. What’s sad is that THEY [Israel backers] are completely awful but was turning before all of these people who are saying something now that it’s too late. A reminder that everything that has happened was knowable and predictable on the morning of October 7, 2023. Many of you failed, morally and analytically. Many of you ran interference for what the whole world now sees is a campaign of mass starvation. Thus far, the shift is rhetorical ass-covering, and hasn't produced any actual attempts at policy change.

EXTREMELY fascinating shift on Israel in the last few days from a very wide range of center-left politicians & voices that had previously defended the country’s conduct. If you're wondering why 'the dam has broken' on Gaza, it's simple. Israel carried out their final solution. It's done. Every town has been flattened, everyone still alive is experiencing a level of famine they can't come back from. Criticizing it now is too late. That's why.
The US defunded UNRWA, the primary UN organization feeding the people of Gaza in Jan 2024 and no one batted an eye. They did it to help Israel use aid as a weapon of war. Now as the predicted famine arrives in full everyone is throwing their alibis together and it makes me fucking sick. Fuckin rage I feel right now about every single person who wasted an ounce of good will or charity for Israel since the moment it began lying about why it launched this genocidal campaign as if this wasn't the fuckin goal the entire time
All of this was preventable. No forgiveness for those only speaking out now.
Besuited void & génocidaire Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer is “horrified” he justified starving & bombing civilians to death for 22 months of completely foreseeable horror: so horrified in fact that his govt is still providing components for killer weapons targeting starving children in tents.
The current Israeli government is overtly genocidal and routinely kills Palestinian civilians as a matter of policy; it’s about to kill many more. There’s no excuse for not knowing this; to rally behind them now is a statement of geopolitical preference, not moral principle.
Something has changed and those who defended Israel most forcefully are now pretending to care about the genocide Don’t forget the harm they did, don’t forgive them. Their day of reckoning must come. It's hard to forgive them for supporting something so obviously horrendous and wrong; at the same time, if people show genuine remorse and are actively involved in changing the situation, should we not welcome them while there's still time to save lives?
It seems gradually that Trump needs to end the genocide by Israel in Gaza, and establish a one state solution right now and no one will remember Epstein files. Free PR tactical and or comms advice.
