368,000 Gazans Killed Less 11 Months. The [West] World Mourn Only for 6 Hostages [1 is American Israeli]. Gaza Population [Only] 1.9 Million [Year 2021]
One of the American doctors who went to Gaza three months ago is Jewish, dr, Mark Perlmutter. Maybe more but this I know about. He was if anything treated better and even with more gratitude than the other doctors. But we continue to hear this slander than Palestinians dislike Jew. How many more have to be killed for the entities that were created to stop indiscriminate bombings take action?
The Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu is literally standing there in front of a map which annexes the West Bank. In doing so, permanently erasing Palestine from the map. Whilst simultaneously claiming it’s Israel in danger of being erased. Netanyahu is virtually unengageable, and he can't be stopped on the cheap. Don't waste time on fantasies of persuading him. This is quintessential Netanyahu. Props, gimmicks, bullshit. He's built a lengthy political career on it at the expense of thousands and thousands of lives. Netanyahu blew up ceasefire/hostage release deal talks by adding 11th hour demands. If he hadn't, at least three of six hostages found dead in Gaza by the IDF over the weekend would have been home. Unconscionable failed leaderships.
Israel mourns the six hostages who were killed. The world also mourns them. Their names, their pictures, their life stories and their families led news broadcasts in Israel and around the world.
Eventually the Zionists are going to frame the past 11 months as an issue with leadership and not a fundamental issue with the occupation of the land that is Palestine. I’m so unimpressed by a society that doesn’t organize against the deaths of thousands of innocent Palestinians, but a few hostages. I’m so unimpressed by a society whose rage is selective. I would have believed you if y'all actually started doing something 75 years ago but no, you mock Palestinian deaths and you block aid trucks, you continue to sign up of to the IDF, and you continue to occupy the land that isn't yours, this is just another bullshit.
Hersh Goldberg-Polin and Eden Yerushalmi became celebrities against their will, in their captivity and in their death. The world cried for them – it's impossible not to: six beautiful young people, who went through hell in captivity before being brutally executed.
But six hostages are only the tip of the story, a tiny fraction of the war's victims. Their becoming a global story is understandable. Less understandable is the unbelievable contrast between the wide coverage of their lives and deaths and the total disregard for the similar fate of people their own age – as blameless and ingenuous and beautiful as them, and just as much innocent victims – on the Palestinian side.
The developments of the last week's is a quantum change. It's no mere "deterioration", tantamount to a collapse of the Status Quo. This will not go unnoticed. No timeline is possible, but left unchecked this ends in a holy war. With or without that war: there will be blood.
None of this could happen with Netanyahu's knowledge and consent which he will not easily reverse. For the purposes of this discussion, Netanyahu is untethered. Driven by flawed judgment delusions of grandeur. Once risk averse, he is now tossing the dice without Israel security. Israel's allies need to strongly engage, publicly & and behind closed doors, & in a manner that leaves no doubt that failure to reverse these gross violations of the Status Quo, there will be serious consequences. But don't say it if you don't mean to follow through.
While the world is shocked by the fate of Gaza, it has never paid similar respect to the Palestinian victims. Biden as President of the United States does not call the relatives of fallen Palestinians, not even if they, like the Goldberg-Polins, had American citizenship.
The United States has never called for the release of thousands of Palestinian abductees that Israel has detained without trial. A young Israeli woman who was killed at the Nova festival arouses more sympathy and compassion in the world than a female teenage refugee from Jabalya. The Israeli is more similar to "the world."
Everything has already been said about the overlooking and concealment of Palestinian suffering in the Israeli public conversation, and not enough has yet been said. The Palestinian killed in Gaza who had a face, a name and a life story and whose killing shocked Israel has not yet been born.
186,000 is number at least June 2024, estimate. Now already September, estimate 368,000
The 17,000 children killed in the Strip since the war began also had hopes and dreams and families that were destroyed by their deaths. They hold no interest for a majority of Israelis; a minority even rejoices in their deaths. In the world beyond Israel they are seen as terrible victims, but even there they usually have neither names nor faces.
Israelis' hearts are with the Israeli victims. Nothing could be more understandable or human. But national lamentation on such a scale for six hostages, amid total disregard for the tens of thousands of Palestinian victims, is sick and immoral: dehumanization without a hint of humanity for the victims – not even for the children who were killed; for children who are displaced, orphaned, sick, starving or had limbs amputated.
Netanyahu has shown his hand: perpetuate the war & smash the remnants of the same solidarity in Israeli society that he has tried so skillfully. Except his hand was visible to all willing to see. Those who didn't see, didn't want to see. From the day Netanyahu appeared in the public arena, it has been a constant, immutable. First version persona, his personal political agenda is built upon a lava field of hate. Incitement, racism and vilification are not merely collateral damage. They are his path to stay in power.
Second version, the words "peace" "mutual recognition" repprochemt are alien to his lexicon No peace is possible. Ever. But if Netanyahu is compelled to say something regarding "peace", he will mumble "two-state solution, while doing everything in his power to make that impossible.
Those in positions of authority who failed to recognise who Netanyahu is, are too clueless to deverve a position in power Those who know who Netanyahu is, may be smart enough to be in power. But they're too morally challenged to wield power.
There are tens of thousands of such children within an hour's drive from Tel Aviv, and we are entirely indifferent to them. Israel has sent aid missions to the Philippines. The more Israel cries over its hostages and its dead, the more evident the inconceivable gap between its national grief and its complete apathy to the Palestinian victims becomes.
It's not difficult to imagine how Gazans feel in the face of the world, which was rocked by six dead Israeli hostages while losing interest with alarming speed in 40,000 dead Palestinians. Also, when they talk about abductees, they only talk about the Israeli hostages.
What about the hundreds and thousands of Palestinian abductees from the Gaza Strip and the West Bank; the so-called administrative detainees, held without trial; the "unlawful combatants" and the innocent laborers who were captured, and whose number no one even reports? Some of them, at minimum, are held in hellish conditions. They too have worried families who have no idea what has happened to them for 10 months; they too are denied visits from the International Committee of the Red Cross.
This week Sheren Falah Saab did a superlative job telling the story of one Palestinian in Gaza, Mohammad "Medo" Halimy, a 19-year-old TikToker who was killed when he went to charge his phone. The article was a ray of light in the darkness. A dead Palestinian in Gaza with a name and a face, thanks to TikTok and Falah Saab.
The story of Medo causes a lump in the throat, no less than the video of Eden Yerushalmi that Hamas released this week. Is it even permitted to say this in today's Israel?

We as Muslim prohibited to fasting at least 6 days for entire year [365, or 366 in leap year]. 2 Days Eid Fitr / Eid el-Fitr [1 Shawwal and 2 Shawwal / Syawal Syawwal], Day of Eid Adha / Eid el-Adha [10 Dzulhijjah / Dhul-Hijjah - today], and days of Tashriq [11th, 12th and 13th Dhul-Hijjah / Dzulhijjah, or in Gregorian Calendar 2024, the days of Tashriq means 17-19 June]. But doesn’t mean prohibited for ‘less eating or hunger strike.’ As sacrifice in DC at least 13 days by Jennifer Koonings just because her protest about Gaza, I keep ‘eating less’ not only for her but also for Palestine, at least until 19 June. And for June 20th, back again for nonmandatory fasting, normally 17-18 hours, as even Jennifer, with her gut, sacrifice herself for Gaza. Wisdom quote I hear since war [Israel - Gaza] nonstop ‘’...You can't make people care about a genocide happening right in front of their eyes. They either do immediately, or a chip is missing up there, and they never will.’
For solidarity, since she started to hunger strike, I put myself eat 1 very tiny plate/day for break the fasting and for entire day after, extreme fasting 16.5 hours [based on my location]. I’m still continued for hunger strike, because its very easy. In last 17 years, I already [minimum] 340 days / year to fasting [29 - 30 days for mandatory fasting for muslim, ramadan session, the rest is voluntary fasting / sunnah]. Photo Jennifer with ann Wright, retired retired US Army and also [Ann] retired State Department. Sometimes I’m fasting up to 22 hours / day because forgot to break my fasting.
