Absurd India Love Israel But Hate Soros

I already asked about India - Jew relation to several of my colleagues [Indian] Diaspora [in Berlin, Kuwait, Adelaide]. No one can convince me to explain what [weird] dynamic narrative in India.

I try to stop thinking about [absurd] India in last 3 days although still weird how in first-8 days, a lot of Indian people in a lot of social media [linkedin, twitter / x, instagram, facebook] show his / her desire to ‘unwavering’ support for Israel.

Hopefully I’m wrong, but in the last 10 days about massive protesters to show solidarity for Palestine, it’s very rare I found South Asian ethnic join in massive rallies. I really try to compile thousands of photos of massive solidarity across the world, although, yes, a lot of protesters use balaclavas or something because of massive surveillance in big [western] cities. But generally, it is very rare to find South Asian races, ethnic, join protests and show solidarity for Palestine. Indian people work in the middle east [every level, low - high level] may around 40 million people and create a huge transfer [remittance] at least USD170 BILLION annually from several cities in the middle east to India. Remittance by Indian from Israel cities to India at least USD15 BILLION.

Until 40-42 minutes ago, BJP, the biggest political party in India and [maybe] 2nd biggest on earth after politburo China, showed again ‘weird feed’ = Soros. 

With BJP and, in logic, Narendra Modi’s voters, show ‘unwavering support’ to Israel, when…. Same person also hates George Soros because Soros’ relation with Gandhi. I feel this hate is weird not only because Soros is Jewish. 

George Soros once slammed the US for supporting Israel and not recognizing Hamas after the terrorist group won control of the Gaza Strip.

In a 2007 Financial Times op-ed, Soros chastised the Bush administration’s commitment to Israel, calling on the US and the Jewish state to work together with Hamas, whose forces killed more than 900 people across the Gaza border [2007].

A year after Hamas won an election to govern Gaza, Soros said it was wrong for the US to align itself with Israel in refuting the terrorist group’s authority and installing a blockade around the Palestinian territory.

“Israel, with strong US backing, refused to recognize the democratically elected Hamas government and withheld payment of the millions in taxes collected by the Israelis on its behalf,” Soros wrote, suggesting the move was a blunder that only caused Israeli-Palestinian relations to worsen.

“If Israel had accepted the results of the election, that might have strengthened the more moderate political wing,” he added. “Unfortunately, the ideology of the ‘war on terror’ does not permit such subtle distinctions.” 

 Soros claimed it was necessary for the US and Israel to negotiate with Hamas, and to only engage in talks with those in the West Bank would be wrong.

“Defenders of the current policy argue that Israel cannot afford to negotiate from a position of weakness. But Israel’s position is unlikely to improve as long as it pursues its current course,” the liberal donor wrote.

He went on to cite the decades of violence that have engulfed Israel and Palestine, calling on Israel to forego future military action and for America to support that idea.

“Demonstrating military superiority is not sufficient as a policy for dealing with the Palestinian problem,” Soros wrote. “It would be tragic to miss out on that prospect because the Bush administration is mired in the ideology of the war on terror.”
