Dilemma, gut Israelis pro peace - Palestinian narrative ‘I’m sad about Gaza, but honestly we suffered our 9/11’, Israel's moral defeat will haunt [Israelis] for years

War is grim. The importance of being consistent in condemning attacks on civilian populations: "When Israel kills 16 children and five women in Gaza using 2000-pound bombs, if you don't describe that as terrorism...this is Orwellian language. It’s like an earthquake, driving through the Gaza City southern neighborhood, the scale of destruction is staggering. How uncomfortable it can be when faced with the Palestinian narrative and position. Pointing to horrific issues elsewhere shouldn't negate or excuse what’s happened and still happening to Palestinians though.
In a few days Israelis went through what Palestinians have experienced as a matter of routine for decades, and are still experiencing – military incursions, death, cruelty, slain children, bodies piled up in the road, siege, fear, anxiety over loved ones, captivity, being targets of vengeance, indiscriminate lethal fire at both those involved in the fighting (soldiers) and the uninvolved (civilians), a position of inferiority, destruction of buildings, ruined holidays or celebrations, weakness and helplessness in the face of all-powerful armed men, and searing humiliation.
A lot of pro peace Israel-Palestine, progressive movement, sometime get rubber-stamp ‘leftist’, maybe says ‘I feel very bad for the people of Gaza, I’m heartbroken about brutality of my soldiers in Gaza. But this was [hamas attack] our 9/11.’ With events making the ability to think straight so challenged, there is no better voice to hear honesty, uncompromised humanity.
After to be part of international observer for Election 2006, which, Hamas won, Former President Jimmy Carter said that he urged Hamas’s leaders during a high-profile meeting here to take steps necessary to become accepted by the leading Western nations.
Mr. Carter is the most prominent American figure to have met with the Hamas government that took over Gaza, after the Palestinian Authority’s forces were routed in a brief but bloody factional war. Hamas welcomed Mr. Carter’s visit as a significant step in its quest for international legitimacy.
Ismail Haniya, the leader of the Hamas government in Gaza [now in Doha Qatar], and Mr. Carter held a joint news conference at which an American flag was displayed alongside a Palestinian national flag behind the speakers. There were no green Hamas flags in sight. Mr. Carter told them to find a mechanism that would allow Hamas to meet the conditions set by international players.
Mr. Carter said that in order to break the Israeli-Palestinian stalemate, “first of all Hamas has to be accepted by the international community as a legitimate player in the future, and that is what I am trying to do today.”
photo = Ismail Haniya / Haniyeh
Mr. Carter also called for Palestinian unity and elections, and for an end to the economic blockade of Gaza.
Earlier, touring the site of the American International School, a private institution in Gaza that was bombed by the Israelis during the war, Mr. Carter said, “I have to hold back tears when I see the deliberate destruction that has been wreaked against your people.” He added that he felt partly responsible because the school had been “deliberately destroyed by bombs from F-16s made in my country.”
Israel said that rockets had been launched from the vicinity of the school.
Speaking at a graduation ceremony for Gazan children who had completed a human rights curriculum at the headquarters of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency, which aids Palestinian refugees, Mr. Carter denounced the economic embargo.
“Tragically, the international community largely ignores the cries for help, while the citizens of Gaza are treated more like animals than human beings,” he said.
Under international pressure, the new Israeli government says it is reviewing its policy and considering allowing more goods into Gaza, but has not yet made any decisions.
Mr. Carter, who brokered the 1979 peace treaty between Egypt and Israel, has fallen out of favor with many Israelis, who see him as hostile to their interests especially since the publication of his book “Palestine Peace Not Apartheid” in 2006.
17 Years after, peace between Israel - Palestine still failed. With a lot of horror in several kibbutz, try to define ‘radical change’ of behavior by HAMAS or Palestinian troopers [with parachute and hang glider] currently ‘say yes’ to kill Israeli civilian, and not only IDF or Israeli soldiers, maybe make a seismic shock between pro peace and or pro-Palestinian narrative in the middle of Israel societies.
‘Thanks’ to mandatory military services and buckle-up very fast of half million fo reservist [including former PM Naftali Bennett], sometime ISRAELIS each other cannot define which civilian and which militia. In this MSNBC Stephanie Ruhle clip, the sister of an Israeli hostage says, explicitly, that her sister was taken from “her base, by the border”. So, how many of the hostages are soldiers? Because media coverage here would suggest most are civilians. Clarity is crucial.
Whatever number casualties in Israeli side, truth that there was and remains an effort to ethnically cleanse Palestinians. A medical ambulance was directly targeted on their way to reach to casualties. Palestinian Medics killed by Israel on spot. Worried for the future of Israel, Palestine, and the wider region. Israeli leaders thought they'd found a way to deal with Hamas and drew troops away from Gaza.
Netanyahu's government dismissed the concerns of the military establishment, deriding them as allies of his political opponents. Netanyahu government, which is the worst government in the history of the state of Israel, led by a corrupt, dysfunctional, and egoistic man who sees only himself—Benjamin Netanyahu—failed the Israelis.
The peace so long denied has never been more necessary or more difficult to reach. States, statesmen, and especially what thoughtful members remain of society must resist a return to the errors of the Bush Sr era [Desert Storm / Gulf War].
These rape allegations are getting wilder every hour. They make no logical sense considering the Palestinian fighters were working against the clock for the operation to go as quickly as possible. Without the speed, the entire surprise [start paraglide after subh prayer or very early morning, maybe around 5am, then Israel siren started alarming 6.30am] factor is lost, so it’s very weird if some Palestinian rape a lot of women during clashes. The lack of time is simply denying them the ability to do shit like this. until [now] 83 hours of war, a lot of Palestinian fighters still in Israel soil, although [just from IDF side] informed already killing 1,500 fighters [which dont know this is myth or real stats]. Evan Hill, a Washington Post journo, US media, an ‘israel’ country ally, as his desk Open source and visual forensic investigations, confirming no verified or first-hand accounts.
UN staff member, Jaser Abo Marjona, has been murdered in an Israeli warplane bombing. Also due to the extensive damage caused by the bombing, the UN headquarters in the Gaza Strip has been evacuated and forced to close completely. Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza bid farewell to Dr. Saed Darabeh, who was murdered during the massacre committed by Israel against civilians in Jabalia camp, north of the Gaza Strip. 50 were killed on their way to seek shelter in a UN school. Still no response by UN SecGen António Manuel de Oliveira Guterres GCC GCL about the killing of UN staff Jaser or the fat of UN school in Gaza.
Yesterday in Gaza is worse than 2014, eid-el-fitr 2021 massacre by Israeli, 2006, or even 1st and 2nd Intifada. Yesterday, was the first time almost everyone in Gaza collapsing in so much tears. The level of carnage & destruction is unprecedented Everyone thinks it'll be their turn next Journalists, medics, hospitals, UN schools, markets are all getting hit.
No cell phone and internet coverage in many parts of Gaza. People can’t call and reassure their relatives. Phones don’t work. Israel just bombed Gaza's main Telecommunications Company (Pal-Tel) causing internet & phone signal blackouts in major parts of the enclave. The company & its building has ZERO connection to Hamas or any other groups. Alleged phone calls threatening families of detained Israelis of sexually assaulting captives are not coming from Hamas. The numbers of families were published by Israeli sources publicly. Hamas militants don't use phones during war to avoid tracking & getting killed.
Israeli civilian even know that the Israeli government try to eavesdropping every Palestinian [civil, militia, full-job soldiers, HAMAS, PLO, etc], and even not only using Pegasus. Netanyahu nurtured a zillion-dollar industry selling spying tools to despots that use them to break into the iPhones of critics, elected opponents, human rights lawyers, and even students (these are all real examples). Turns out they're not very useful for spying on Hamas, tho. There are now hundreds of "former" Israeli spies working at high levels in companies like Facebook, Google, Microsoft and Amazon. Again, the fact that until [now] 83 hours of war, a lot of Palestinian fighters still in Israel soil, although [just from IDF side] informed already killing 1,500 fighters [which dont know this is myth or real stats].
For vengeance logic after suffered 1,100 or even 1,300 killed [in Israel side], Israel Is wiping out entire Palestinian families on purpose. So far new number killed in Gaza alone was 710.. Palestinian center's report does not mention who their parents were and whether they were also killed in the bombing. The "importance" of a Hamas member is considered high and its residence is defined as a legitimate target for bombing – the “allowable” collateral damage, in other words the number of uninvolved people killed, including children and babies – is very broad.
The numerous incidents of killing entire families in Israeli bombings in Gaza – Parents and children, babies, grandparents, siblings – attest that these were not mistakes. The bombings follow a decision from higher up, backed by the approval of military jurists and corrupt government Netanyahu. Palestinian rescue forces only managed to find the rest of the bodies and pull them out from the rubble. Wiping out entire families in Israeli bombings was one of the characteristics of the war in 2014. In the roughly 50 days of the war 2014 then, UN figures say that 142 Palestinian families were erased (742 people in total). One explanation was that the Israeli army didn’t provide advance warning to the homeowners or to their tenants; or that the warning didn’t reach the correct address, at all or on time.
In any case, what stands out is the difference between the fate of the buildings that were bombed with their residents inside, and the “towers” – the high-rise buildings that were shelled as of the second day of this latest conflict, during the daytime or early evening. The Palestinian population registry, including that of Gaza, is in the hands of the Israeli Interior Ministry. It includes details such as names, ages, relatives and addresses.
As the conflict intensifies, the Western world faces a choice: Israel or Ukraine. If Hezbollah were to engage the IDF forces with its entire arsenal, which includes rockets ranging from 100mm to 620mm with a range of over 150km, modern anti-tank guided missiles (ATGMs), and numerous Iranian drones, it is likely that Israel would demand significant support in terms of weaponry.
Still their strongest advantage would be the presence of thousands of militants with military experience from Syria and Yemen. This poses a significant challenge for the Israeli army, which primarily consists of professionals without real combat experience and a high number of conscripts, what push Israel to demand the use of a substantial amount of long-range weapons and ammunition. In recent days, the US has started sending weapons to the IDF. However, the capacity of the US and Western countries, in general, is limited due to the significant deliveries being made to Ukraine. The issue here is not solely about shells; the Russian invasion has caused a global rush to source materials for various defense industries worldwide. This includes chemicals for explosives, metals, and plastics needed for fuses and artillery shell casings. If the Israeli conflict intensifies, there could potentially be a shortage
As the Oslo Accords require, the Palestinian interior ministry, through the civil affairs ministry, transfers current information regularly to the Israeli side, especially concerning births and newborns: The registry data must receive Israeli approval, because without that, Palestinians cannot receive an identity card when the time comes, or in the case of minors – they can’t travel alone or with their parents through border crossings controlled by Israel.
It is clear, then, that the army knows the number and names of children, women and elderly who live in every residential building it bombs for any reason.
Therefore, this must be said once again – we told you so. Ongoing oppression and injustice explode at unexpected times and places. Bloodshed knows no borders.
The world has suddenly turned upside down, and the Palestinians’ daily nightmare has shattered the façade of normalcy that has characterized Israeli life for decades. Hamas crushed it by means of the surprise operation it launched, which demonstrated its military ingenuity and its ability to make plans, keep them secret and employ diversionary tactics.
Its operatives displayed creativity by using a variety of methods to break through the walls of the world’s largest prison, into which Israel has crammed two million human beings. Its armed men embarked on this campaign with a willingness to sacrifice their lives, knowing full well that they had a good chance of being killed. Some of them murdered hundreds of Israeli civilians in what seemed like orgies of vengeance, which their commanders weren’t wise or didn’t deem it important to prevent, if only for tactical reasons.
Three days later, the enormity of those mass acts of Palestinian rage is still unfolding, while Israel’s intensive aerial onslaught on Gaza has already resulted in the deaths of over 560 people, most of them civilians, over 120,000 displaced and thousands wounded.
As in every Israeli war against the Gaza Strip that Hamas had an interest in, especially given the murder of civilians, one should ask: Does this organization have a realistic plan of action and a realistic political goal, or did it mainly want to rehabilitate its own position in the eyes of Gaza residents? Was its military operation accompanied this time by a logistical plan to assist and rescue Gazan civilians under attack? Or will this once again fall on international aid agencies?
The gleeful Palestinian reactions to Hamas’ current achievement shouldn’t surprise anyone. After all, the all-powerful enemy has been revealed in all its nakedness – an unprepared army that is busy protecting settlers praying in the West Bank town of Hawara and Jews who take over Palestinian springs. Confused soldiers and police officers who have gotten used to thinking that combat means rousing children from their sleep with drawn bayonets, or invading a refugee camp in an armored jeep. Inventors of spyware and collaborator-running Shin Bet agents who were so content about their achievements that they neglected the human factor – that is, the yearning for freedom shared by every human being.
“Half of Sderot’s residents are in Gaza, and half of Gaza’s residents are in Sderot,” Gazans joked over Shabbat after the number of Israelis taken captive became clear. These are the jokes of detainees sentenced to life, people acquainted only through the stories told by their refugee grandparents with the landscapes of Jiyya, Burayr, Hamama, Najd, Dimra, Simsim and other destroyed villages around today’s Gaza Strip, where the attacked kibbutzim and Israeli towns are now located. But what comes after that joy and that feeling of achievement?
The automatic Israeli conclusion, as on previous occasions when its normalcy was shattered a bit, is that if death and destruction haven’t achieved their goal until now, more aerial killings of Palestinians and more destruction and vengeance are the answer. That’s the conclusion of both the government and the army, but also of many Israelis. And it’s also apparently the conclusion reached by Western governments, which raced to voice support for Israel while ignoring Israel’s structural violence and cruelty, and the context of the Palestinian people’s ongoing dispossession from their land.

INDONESIAN LANGUAGE
Setidaknya saya menulis =
tidak ada yang ditelanjangi atau diperkosa. Akun paling awal yang posting "perempuan2 peserta rave party, Yehuda Meshi-Zahav, "sexually assaulted boys, girls, women --- Haaretz investigation (Haaretz media Israel)
Sandera dikasih minum
