Kissinger, Nova Kakhovka Dam, NAZI badge used Ukraine army, Prabowo’s Peace Plan, Crimea: People Must Say Sorry to Seymour Hersh
4.43pm Beijing / 4.43am DC / 12.43pm Kyiv / 11.43am Brussels and Berlin
Too much redundant - weird news, and even (it) news by prominent U.S. media, to show how weird (& questioned) Ukraine. And maybe a lot of journos who since February 2023 smeared Seymour Hersh, must ask sorry to Seymour right now (after his investigation about Nord Stream). In the same situation as Seymour (my credential name gets smeared systematically in years), I try to detail how Ukraine may decide the wrong plan amid counteroffensives.
a] Last Saturday in Singapore IISS Shangri-La Dialogue, Indonesia Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto Djojohadikusumo, received backlash from a lot of people (even from IR / International Relation UGM, my alma mater) about his peace plan Ukraine - Russia.
Tone of his peace plan articulated (and staged, also assumed by “pro Ukraine”) that Prabowo has intention to “Pro Russia”, because with (1) withdrawal 15 km (2) DMZ and (3) UN Peacekeeping, may gain for Russia especially in Crimea. Prabowo steal the show in Singapore, amid another sensational “handshake” Defense Minister Li Shangfu (China) and Secretary Lloyd Austin III (the U.S.) but not exclusive meeting just between two superpowers in Singapore.
Now (4.43pm Beijing / 4.43am DC / 12.43pm Kyiv / 11.43am Brussels and Berlin) 7 hours after Dam Nova Kakhovka destroyed, you’re going to see a lot of deliberately stupid people over the next few days confidently claim that Russia blew up the dam which supplies Crimea with water because Putin is literally the Joker.

(*According to Telegram convo, Russia assumed that new batch of counteroffensive started since June 4th, 2023)
Read slowly: SUPPLIES CRIMEA PEOPLE WITH WATER, in the hope (if we try to see from / point of view from Russia), Crimean people may gain for Russia if one day set a referendum (like Prabowo’s Peace Plan).
Via Op-ed in The Spectator (respected UK media, 22 Old Queen Street London), 56th U.S. Secretary of State Henry Alfred Kissinger (September 22, 1973 – January 20, 1977), on his Op-Ed December 17th, 2022, proposes to end the Ukraine War by trading NATO admission for Ukraine in exchange for Crimea and Donbas staying with Russia.
Because Nova Kakhovka Dam destroyed 7 hours ago, and this Dam near Crimea’ “Crimean” water access from this Dam, now Op-Ed Henry Albert Kissinger in the Spectator get inserted a news about this Dam, literally in specific paragraph mentioned, again “Kissinger proposes to end the Ukraine War by trading NATO admission for Ukraine in exchange for Crimea and Donbas staying with Russia.’

Kissinger held a 100th years of his birthday (11 hours ago) in New York Public Library, according to Jonathan Guyer.
Prabowo witnessed Timor Loro Sae to be part of Indonesia (he's commander SEROJA special force, liberated TLS). He witnessed TLS becoming an independent country (1999), facilitating a referendum by the UN (UNTAET). He knows the painful step before peace for Russia and Ukraine, so he explained his peace plan.
The problem is, until this minute, a longform-in depth investigation by The Washington Post, by Isabelle Khurshudyan (Ukraine bureau chief of The Washington Post) Dec 29, 2022 (12 days after Kissinger’s Op-ed), Christmas week, still appears and not yet removed by The WaPo.
(*if anyone facing gate / paywalled to read WAPO - The Washington Post investigation, you can read here)
I rewrite again what Isabelle Khurshudyan write in her in-depth investigation (again, until this minute, her in-depth investigation still appears, not removed immediately by editorial team of WaPo):
Maj. Gen. Andriy Kovalchuk, the initial commander of the Ukrainian counteroffensive in the Kherson region. (Ukrainian Operative Commandment South) set out to bisect the Russian-occupied area on the west side of the Dnieper and trap the Russian forces. “My task was not only to liberate the territory,” he said. “My task from the start was to occlude and destroy the force. That is, to not let them leave or exist.”
“There were moments when we turned off their supply lines completely, and they still managed to build crossings,” Kovalchuk said. “They managed to replenish ammunition. … It was very difficult.”
Kovalchuk considered flooding the river. The Ukrainians, he said, even conducted a test strike with a HIMARS launcher on one of the floodgates at the Nova Kakhovka dam, making three holes in the metal to see if the Dnieper’s water could be raised enough to stymie Russian crossings but not flood nearby villages.
The test was a success, Kovalchuk said, but the step remained a last resort. He held off.
I just show what hypocrisy if today we accuse Russia for (the destruction of) the Nova Kakhovka Dam, if 6 months ago via The Washington Post, Ukraine high-ranking military even say (for counteroffensive) “we must destroy this Dam to weaken Russia.”
I just recalled (sabotage of) Nord Stream, when a lot of journos say (former Pulitzer winner) Seymour Hersh is dumb, crazy.

In the last 24 hours, not only about the Nova Kakhovka Dam. exclusive by NYTimes / New York Times reported (19 hours ago):
The decision by some Ukrainian soldiers to wear patches with NAZI icons threatens to reinforce Russian propaganda used to justify the invasion.
Nearly the same minute when NYT published this investigation about NAZI patch / symbol, CNN reported (first tweet-posted by Alex Marquardt, CNN’s Senior National Security) that “Ukraine has been building its network of clandestine agents inside Russia tasked with carrying out sabotage and drone attacks.” And requote by Alex, a news by SEMAFOR (SEMAFOR same par as PUNCHBOWL; both SEMAFOR and PUNCHBOWL recruit several high-rank/senior-respected journo) that NYT and NBC reporters covering the war in Ukraine had their press credentials revoked by Ukrainian officials over stories and images the government didn't like. Don’t know latest situation about (credential for) Isabelle Khurshudyan as Chief Bureau Ukraine for Washington Post.
Target of official Ukrainian ire has been the New York Times reporter Thomas Gibbons-Neff (a former U.S. Marine who covers the Ukrainian military closely) and Magnum photographer, Antoine D’Agata.
Thomas who drew particular anger when he reported that the Ukrainians were using banned cluster munitions. He has had his credentials revoked and his renewal denied in separate incidents, a Times spokesperson said, though they were ultimately re-issued. Antoine also lost his ability to report in Ukraine after a photo essay in the New York Times Magazine that documented soldiers’ psychological trauma from inside a mental health facility, according to two people familiar with the incident. D’Agata and Magnum didn’t respond to inquiries. Antoine has a contribute to the world about his masterpiece to show strength of Ukraine especially "Duo Zelensky", Volodimir and Olenka, but now his credential revoked. Imagine Ukraine receive 60-70 billion by US taxpayers and even make several high-rank GOP (especially Speaker McCarthy) angry because too much money to abroad, but Ukraine now revoke US journo to reporting.
Antoine has contributed to the world about his masterpiece to show the strength of Ukraine especially "Duo Zelensky", Volodimir and Olenka, but now his credential is revoked. Imagine Ukraine receiving 60-70 billion from US taxpayers and even make several high-ranking GOP (especially Speaker McCarthy) angry because too much money went abroad, but Ukraine now revokes US journos for reporting the Russia - Ukraine war. Yes, Russia jailed WSJ’s Evan Gershkovich (Une 6th already Day 71 Evan in Moscow’s Lefortovo prison, but weirder if (even) Ukraine government banned journos to reporting the war.
So far Andrew E. Kramer, Kyiv Bureau Chief of NYTimes, still tweeting daily, even NYT first story about Nova Kakhovka Dam written by him and NYT visual investigation Haley Willis. Anton Troianovski, Moscow Bureau Chief of NYTimes (he also former of Washington Post Moscow Bureau Chief) not yet tweeting since May 27th, 2023, although he oftenly tweets about latest situation in Ukraine, unclear he's not able (again) to tweet related with "high-stakes clash for control of Ukraine’s story" by Zelensky regime.
Ann M. Simmons, Moscow Bureau Chief of WSJ also not yet tweeting since May 23rd, 2023.
I believe Ukraine has a right to defend every inch, same as Soekarno-Hatta (and a lot of Indonesia heroes). But really, some weird, very contradictory, published by U.S. media itself, shows Ukraine's “weird” step. And what upset me the most: a lot of hypocrisy and contradictory arguments by (a lot of) Indonesian IR graduates I found on twitter and facebook.
